firma.de is a Berlin-based start-up founded in 2012 and focusing on helping new companies navigate commercial success in Germany.
In this project, I was mainly responsible for internationalizing the content for a wider audience. The content was mostly in German at the time, but the task went beyond simple translation. Much of it needed to be reformulated so that readers would understand from content from their own national perspective, as the terminology of German business rarely correlates directly to concepts common in the English-speaking world. Additionally, there are many differences between English-speaking countries.
Email and newsletter campaigns were also created over the course of the collaboration for which I provided German and English-language content.
